Villa del Palmar Beach Resort // Cabo San Lucas

First off, I am so excited to begin sharing more of my travels with you. As my first blog post, I wanted to share one of our most recent vacations with y'all which sadly was 6 months ago? Teacher life am I right?? As soon as school got out, we packed our bags and headed to Mexico! My husband and I flew from Dallas and my parents flew from Anchorage! We all met at the resort in Cabo. We stayed at Villa del Palmar Beach Resort. Cabo was absolutely beautiful, and we really loved the area! We definitely liked Villa del Palmar, but it was a lot more laid back than other all-inclusive resorts we had been to. The restaurants were delicious, but not formal. We typically dress up each night when at all-inclusive resorts so that was surprising for us. This is definitely not bad, but we would pack differently next time. We loved the idea and location of the resort however, we were a bit disappointed with the sand in comparison to other tropical locations we have been to. One part that was amazing was the fact that there were jumping Mobula Rays in the Pacific Ocean. We had never seen anything quite like it!  Downtown Cabo was surprisingly fun and had a lot to do! We went during the day and there was shopping, restaurants, and a variety of places to explore. Plus, can you say STARBUCKS! It doesn't get more basic than a $9 cab ride to feed your ice coffee addiction, but you better believe we made this trip more times than we should have. While we were in Cabo we spent a lot of time by the pool enjoying all the cold beverages and delicious food. As soon as we arrived we made sure to plan out our excursions and decided how we would spend our week. We went deep-sea fishing, took a water taxi out to the famous arches, did a snorkel tour, and my Mom and I spent a day at the spa, while the boys went jet skiing. It was not only a fun-filled week, but we came back relaxed as well as rejuvenated.

XOXO,
