Broken Bow, Oklahoma

There are few places that I would want to spend a rainy weekend with one of our favorite couples, but honestly Broken Bow is just as fun rain or shine. Fortunately, our weekend was a combination of both. We arrived to our cabin Friday night, and honestly as soon as we saw it I knew it was GOALS 🙌🏻. It was literally stunning, from the high ceilings, to the covered hot tub, closed in porch, and beautiful kitchen. Somehow although so beautiful it also felt so homey. If you know me you know I’m all about the atmosphere and vibe.. how millennial of me right?? You can’t blame me for wanting to enjoy myself haha. Friday night after we got settled, we went to Grateful Head Pizza and their Hawaiian Pizza was really good! Then we took a dip into the hot tub before bed. Saturday was a day full of fun things although it rained and poured almost all day. We started the morning off with pedicures and mini-friendship facials at Hochatown Spa. It was so fun, and honestly the staff was all hilarious and made the whole morning a blast. Once we were done we went to Mountain Fork Brewery for lunch. This was one of our favorite meals in Broken Bow. Queso, pizza, and wings oh myyy!!! Add a wide selection of really good beer, for a perfect combo! We relaxed in the afternoon by the fire. There is something about a warm fire and the sound of the rain outside. It doesn’t get any better than that! In the afternoon while they boys hung out Hannah and I went to Vojai’s Winery. The wine was incredible, and again a fire pit to enjoy it by so #hearteyes. Once we were done we finished the night at Shuck Me. I’m obsessed with crawfish and their crawfish was delicious! We may or may not have gone back for it the following day as well. Sunday surprised us and the rainy weather turned into a beautiful day, so we decided to stay longer. We had a yummy breakfast at Stephen’s Gap (they have all day breakfast so even though it was late morning that was a win). Josh and Hannah had to head back so Caleb and I spent the afternoon together and had a little date day. We ended up at Beaver’s Bend Brewery and enjoyed a flight, had Shuck Me for lunch, and then went fishing and Caleb caught a beautiful trout! It was a perfect weekend and included all of my favorite things. And, it gets better! It’s only 2.5 hours away from our house!

XOXO,
