Baby Eppler’s Nursery Reveal

As soon as we found out we were having a boy we knew we wanted our nursery to be adventure-themed. What started out as an adventure theme quickly turned into an Alaska-themed room. If you know us this is NO SURPRISE! I’ve always felt a strange sense of guilt knowing my kids wouldn’t grow up in Alaska like I did. Although I have no desire to move back, I’m convinced that growing up in Alaska is a one-of-a-kind experience and a childhood I wouldn’t trade for anything. Fortunately, we go back often and I married someone who loves Alaska as much (possibly more) than I do.

One of the easiest things to agree on for the nursery was the idea of doing a mountain mural. I planned on some quick freehanded mountains similar to what I had seen on Pinterest. However, Caleb took it to a whole new level by insisting that each mountain on the mural be a sentimental peak that we love. So, that’s what we did (keep an eye out for the step-by-step process on my Instagram). Each mountain in our mural was sketched and painted based on mountains that we love!

Next, we added furniture primarily from Delta Children (I highly recommend their furniture) and then slowly added the other details.

The direct links will help you find the stores, but ordering through LiketoKnowIt helps me and allows me to continue to share with y’all!
